If you’re like me you catch up on reading blogs over coffee in the morning. Well, here’s a track that is 195% more effective at waking you up than caffeine. This is the title track from Kreator’s new record Hate über alles. These guys have somehow gotten faster since I first heard them circa 1986. Also, check out this earworm from Québécois black metal outfit Spectral Wound. I’m not sure if there’s a genre name for “black metal with catchy melodic riffs tremolo picked at 200bpm, sort of like Transilvanian Hunger but cooler” but if there is, that’s what this track is. I think I listened to it 5 times back to back when I first heard it. The opening riff makes me want to put my fist through a wall (in a good way).
